24 Hour comics day 2012

Here's a little write up about the event. I'm cheating and adding grays before I make a mini-comic of my story, so I'll put it up for sale, along with the new Spinadoodles collection and the Frantastic Four, next week!

APE trip!

WHEW! So it's been a couple crazy weeks, I finally have time to post these comics. I was in San Francisco for the Alternative Press Expo and man, that was a really fun trip. I got to see all my awesome Cola friends, check out an awesome city, and go to maybe the coolest convention I've ever been to. I met so many rad people at APE and got to hang with some new freinds.
ALSO, this past weekend was 24 hour comics day, so I have a new 24 page minicomic that I'll finish up this week called DAGGURS: TROUBLED YOUTH, aaaaand I got copies of Frantastic Four and my new Spinadoodles collection that I will put in the store soon. And Samantha left today for 2 weeks :(

Book Debuts at APE

I'm leaving tomorrow to go hang with my San Francisco friends and I'll be tabling at APE this weekend! If you live in SF, you GOTTA go, the show's going to be awesome, and I'm debuting 2 new books! The new Spinadoodles collection, and my very first published comic that I've been working on all year, the Frantastic Four! Come say hi and pick them up this weekend if you can, I'll put them for sale online when I get back in town. Here are the covers:

Spinadoodles is the same size as the other collections, and just as big. 7"x7" and over 100 pages. $7

The Frantastic Four is regular comic size! I don't remember the exact dimensions, but it's physically the biggest book I've made so far! 48 pages, $5

Scene but not Heard & Daggurs

No new dairy comic today, but here's a tribute I made to one of my favorite comics strips of all time, Sam Henderson's 'Scene but not Heard.' Also, Bordo Bello was this past weekend, it's a skateboard art show I do every year. This years board wasn't my favorite, but I am making my 24-hour comic about this character this year. His name is Daggurs.

Greege and the Jersey

Last night was the first presidential debate, it was at the Univeristy of Denver, which is like a half mile away from our apartment! It got pretty crazy. Here's some doodles I made in my pocket sketchbook while watching it:
