Before you read this comic I want you to know that I have since learned that there is no 'w' in velcro. PROCEED:
That one kinda sucks, so here's something else! I made this kids menu for the place I work at, and they're not going to use it. I thought it was cool so I might as well show you guys!

GRANDMA STORIES!
Here's a new mini-comic I made for 24 hour comics day this year!
Well, I couldn't finish it all on 24 hour comics day (I only completed 15 pages), so I just finished it up last week. SO, it's 24 pages total, black and white and printed on cream paper, with that gold paper insert and a color cover! It's a comic about talking on the phone with my grandma and her telling me stories of her childhood. It's 3 bucks and available for purchase RIGHT HERE! Here's a 4 page preview:

And check it out, I submitted a drawing of the awesome Koyama Press logo for their Kick Ass Annie Gallery!

Boboli
In case you were thinking about it, DON'T get a Boboli pizza crust. Get real dough or just stick with frozen pizza.

That one's starring KEVIN with title shout-out to JOSE.
24 hour comics day is super fun, but sheesh, it's brutal. I didn't finish this year, which is a bummer. Last years book starring SNOOD, was a much easier to draw book (those characters are like 4 lines each... haha). I challenged myself this year to draw an auto bio comic about my grandma. I've never drawn a long auto-bio story, so I thought it might be neat, but it's just me talkin on the phone with my grandma, so maybe it's boring? I penciled all 24 pages, but I only inked 15 of them (i was using a g-nib dip pen to ink instead of markers last year... which was also way harder). I'll finish the last few pages, bang out a cover, and hopefully sent them to print sometime this week. Here's a test page/character sheet I made to prepare:
Paper dream productions covered the whole event (podcast coming soon?) and thanks to Time Warp Comics in Boulder for putting the event on!

ear holes
I just got back from Bordo Bello a few hours ago! It was pretty fun. I think my board sold for like $45 and my Munny sold for $40, so I guess thats cool. Anyways, I forgot to take my camera so my girlfriends uncle Tyler sent me these pics of my stuff at the show! There was a ton of cool art though, it would've been cool to post some others (like that munny next to mine, made by the incredible married duo that is HARI and DEEPTI).
In other news, tomorrow is the start of 24 hour comics day! I think I'm pretty well prepared and should probably go to bed so I will be rested enough to draw a 24 page comic about talking to my grandma on the phone. Hopefully it doesn't suck! k bye
