Sick and SCANNER!

Here's the first comic scanned from my very own scanner:

Finally! I got an Epson Artisann 800 so no more walking in the snow to University of Denver's crappy library to use their crappy scanners! This also means I'm going to start posting comics the day I make them! I have always had a 2 or 3 day buffer, so I would only have to scan every 3 days instead of everyday (like how this one, for example, is from 3 days ago). So I have 2 more to post before I'm caught up!

Woo!

NICE SCANNER! I need to get a better one than my crappy all in one crap fest of a scanner, I'll have to look into a nicer one. What a great comic strip though, the detail! sucks your sick man, get a jamba juice

This comic looks sick, Sam. The details are awesome and the throat panel is so good. Looks like you're makin' the most of that scanner (I'm like Garza... I've got a all-in-one that I can't wait to upgrade).

yeah jon and matt, I swore i wasn't going to get an all in one, I was planning to get the epson v300 scanner, but this one has the same quality and it was only like $30 more. The standalone scanner can do some better stuff, like scan in negatives (who uses film anymore? jk, but seriously), and it opens completely flat so you can scan really big stuff (something this one can definitely not do, it has a really annoying ridge so you have to bend anything that won't fit on the scanner! sucks) but i thought it was worth it. And it's wireless, which is definitely a must. my apartment is WAY to big for my laptop to be anywhere near where I have to print and scan stuff.

Ha I bought the same one also! The scanning quality is great...printing is ok, but it works for what I need.

ha cool erin! don't you hate that stupid ridge in the front so the scanning bed isn't flat?!! why would they do that?

I have this printer/scanner too and the wireless rocks!!! It has some negatives, but mostly I love it. Have fun!
