I totally understand your dilemma. I'm at the age now where ticket price and shitty crowds have put me off concerts for a while. Although, I have to admit, I'd make an exception for Tool (who ruled in Syracuse a few years ago) and Minus The Bear (who's my favorite band and I've never seen).
Enjoy the Dirty Projectors show (or did you already?... the strip was from 11/6).

yeah it was two days ago, they were so good. The opening act Tune Yards was awesome too. and seeing minus the bear would be rad
