Cedar Pasori Illustration

I'm too lazy to go scan in a comic today, so I'll put 2 tomorrow. I just finished an illustration for my friend CEDAR that I met in LA when I was touring with Chaz. She wanted a homepage image, and her idea was looking at skyscrapers with 3-d glasses. She wanted a few different versions for different times of day (daytime, sunrise, sunset, nighttime). Anyways I'll link to her site again when she sets it all up!

Make sure to check out her site, she takes some awesome pictures. She just added some pics of MAYBE DUDE, LADY GAGA. So look at her BLOG and PHOTOS! She even has some of TORO Y MOI! And here's my initial sketchbook sketch, a quick computer test thumbnail, and the final inked version. I had the penciled version but I can't find it!

Skateboard comics and final deck!

So here's the final inked layer:

And then I went back to add some little touch ups and added another yellow spraypaint layer on the nose and tail because it looked empty:
It still looks kind of plain, but I'm calling it FINISHED. Oh and here is the back of the board:
Title courtesy of HEAVY BOY TYLER. Thanks dude! And here's a comic I made about painting this deck:

The King of Cats

KING CAT COMIX AND STORIES are the best. It was awesome hearing John P talk about his comics, and after I got to talk to him and give him my mini's. He's a super nice guy!

That's not what Sharker really looks like, but yes! I am more then halfway done with adding washes, which is the final step for my new 24 page comic called "Sharker, the Forgotten: the Story of Sean Kerr." The only comic I have made with grayscale, Fresh to Death (which you can totally buy on the right side of this page for only two bucks...), was colored on photoshop. I wanted to try something different with the Sharker comic so I"m doing ink washes. Here's some test wash pages:

Hopefully, some of the lighter washes are going to still be seen when I print the comic. ANOTHER cool thing about my Sharker comic is that it's going to come with a mini-mini 24 page comic staring Shrimper (Sharkers side-kick)! So for the price of one mini comic you get two! It's either going to be 3 or 4 dollars, depending on how much printing is, so start saving up now!

The lame part is that I'll probably be done in a couple weeks, but I still don't have a scanner and the crappy one I use at Samantha's school sucks too hard to scan a real comic in. But I'll figure something out!
