New stuff

I read somewhere that Uni-ball Micro Deluxe pens are the pens that Jeffery Brown inks with. Speaking of Jeffery Brown, check out this awesome blog post he did about his process making a story for the new Simpson's Tree-house of Horror issue: RIGHT HERE!

It's just not the same without you dude.

And everybody, PLEASE watch this video. It's by far the best intro video I've ever seen in a video game. Seriously:

Did you watch it??? Awesome right?!

Small Paintings can be yours!

I added a "small painting" button under my mini-comics! now when you order some comics you can get a small original painting by me too! you can request something, but they turn out better when you let me come up with something. and it's exciting to see what will come, right? They are only $5 bucks (with 50 cents shipping) for now, I might make them a little more expensive if i can't keep up with the orders. here's one I made for my friend Jennifer:

and here's some more examples!

Meeting people

This isn't entirely true. It was only weird in the beginning, after a while everyone was friends. They are all really nice and cool.

Monolith Music Festival

And I also found out that Phoenix started out as being AIR's backup band because they're from the same town in france. interesting!

Back to video games

I haven't played video games in forever, I've been too busy. But being unemployed and moving to a city where you don't know anyone is the perfect time to play! I just beat Mass Effect yesterday, and think I want to play another long RPG. I missed playing Fallout 3 so I think that's next. You care, right?

Sharker and Shrimper

I've been wanting to do a "Sharker Origins" like I did "Hoodle Origins" for a while, I even have most of it written, but I'm too lazy to do it. So, to make it interesting for myself I'm going to draw the whole thing on my wacom tablet. A lot of web-comic people do that and it looks awesome, my favorite being the Beartato and Reginald comics. Even Penny Arcade is drawn on a tablet! So I hope to do more of these and get better at using a Wacom.

And Michael from Chandler, AZ sent me a picture of his GF reading "Hoodle Origins!" It's especially cool because I sort of know her, we went to school together when I was still living in AZ! Check it:

2 sad ones

Super Rad Deal Paintings!

Yikes, is that seriously supposed to be a car?

Anyways I had a special going at the Charleston and Columbia TRADE PANDEMIC called "The Super Rad Deal," which was all of my comics and a small painting that I mail to you at a later date, all for only $10. Everyone went crazy for it! Well, not really, only 6 people got the deal and I mailed out their paintings a few days ago. I think everyone got theirs, so it's ok for me to post pics (they would be better scanned but i was lazy) of all the small paintings:

Thanks to everyone who bought a Rad Deal. Maybe I'll do something like this again the next time I'm selling comics somewhere!

Back to Comics!

I found a scanner at the University of Denver! it's fun walking around campus, it's like i'm a student, not just some dude sneaking into the computer labs.

I forgot!

So I moved to Denver. That means that I have no computer labs to scan my comics in. I already have a list of things that I'm going to buy when I have a job and a scanner is number 1. Anyways Samantha gets her DU (university of Denver) card tomorrow, so maybe I can use one of their scanners.

Here's some pics of my new apartment:
The outside:

The living room from the "office":

The kitchen:

A view looking in the front door to the "office" (my desk is behind the door and check that sweet bookshelf we just bought!):

The bedroom view from the "office":

The apartment is pretty small, but there was still room for my art table:

One thing that I have done these last few days was putting together a ton packages to mail my comics to people! Thanks to everyone who has bought comics and sorry it took so long to send!

Sorry this post was for the most part doodle-free, hopefully I find a scanner/job soon!
